Mooooo!!!!!!

Hmm. Here’s another one. A little better, but I’m not sure I like the stinky part.

You Are Beef

You’re big, burly, and maybe even a little stinky. And no one’s going to come between you and a good steak.
And you’ve probably never met a vegetable you like, unless fries and ketchup count.

Coffee?

Well, this probably isn’t the most accurate one of these I’ve done, but considering I’m not a coffee drinker it’s pretty interesting. Okay, so it’s almost hysterical. SMILE!

You Are an Irish Coffee

At your best, you are: wild, spontaneous, and outgoing

At your worst, you are: too extreme and reckless

You drink coffee when: you want to keep drinking booze

Your caffeine addiction level: low

Me On Pollitics

Okay, I’ve never been big on political issues of any kind. I rarely ever get involved in the news, and I definitely stay out of anything political. I was curious though to know how I’d score on this thing, and I’d say it’s pretty much accurate. Whenever I’ve been asked whether I’m republican or democrat I always say that it really depends on the issues. This confirms it. Not bad.

Your Political Profile:

Overall: 55% Conservative, 45% Liberal
Social Issues: 75% Conservative, 25% Liberal
Personal Responsibility: 25% Conservative, 75% Liberal
Fiscal Issues: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal
Ethics: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal
Defense and Crime: 75% Conservative, 25% Liberal

B is For …

I was given this letter by John. The idea is that I have a letter and I have to come up with ten words starting with that letter and then talk about them. Let’s see what I can come up with for the letter B.

  1. Books. One of my favorite things to do in my spare time (I know, that’s kind of funny), is read books. I’ve always liked reading, even when I was too young and had books read to me instead.
  2. Brown. The color that my hair would be if it weren’t somewhere between the red that I’m coloring it and the grey that it wants to be.
  3. Brief. Something that I honestly have never learned how to be when writing or talking. SMILE!
  4. Bubble Bath. Okay so that’s two words, but it’s all one thing. I never seem to have enough time anymore for these, but I used to love sitting in the bubbles and trying to squash them all in the tub. I kind of made a game out of it.
  5. Breakfast. This is the meal that I most often don’t bother eating. I don’t like getting up early, but I like eating something early in the morning even less. It kind of makes my stomach turn.
  6. Blush. People enjoy embarrassing me, and unfortunately there are times when it happens a lot. I’ve been told that people can really read my moods on my face, (which means that I’m an absolutely terrible liar too by the way), and people love to embarrass me. It’s all good though, nothing cruel.
  7. Brownies. Is that too close to brown? Too bad. I absolutely love brownies, especially if they don’t have any nuts. I’ll have to write an entry about the ones I made for Jim’s birthday though. Man, what a disaster!
  8. Breathing. Something that we all have to do, but typically don’t even think about. Hey, I’m getting desperate here, leave me alone!
  9. Burgers. Give them to me any time! I love them with mushrooms and cheese, and pretty much any kind of sauce.
  10. Bubble-wrap. Now this stuff is fun! I love to take it and try to pop it as quick as possible, and get as many of the little bubble things as possible at one shot. I finally end up giving up and jumping on it. Kind of dorky maybe, but it’s a great stress-reliever.

Okay, so now it’s your turn. If you’re feeling so inclined, comment on this and I’ll assign you a letter. We’ll see what happens.

Man I’m Weird!

I saw this on another blog yesterday morning, but wasn’t tagged. Today however, I was tagged by Puppybraille so thought I’d do it. Let’s see what I can come up with for this. SMILE!

  1. I like to mix chili with macaroni and cheese. It makes this really interesting yet flavorful meal.
  2. When at a place, like McDonalds, I don’t mix foods. I start with my fries and then my burger. It is, however, all right to mix soda with fries and burgers as long as the fries and burger stay separate.
  3. When riding in a vehicle I have to be on the right side. If I’m on the left I feel really funny and tend to get nauseated.
  4. I keep my cell phone on 24 hours a day just in case it rings.
  5. I don’t like any sport; baseball, football, basketball, that kind of thing.
  6. I don’t like seafood or eggs, and they tend to make me sick. However, I can eat tuna on a sandwich or in casserole, and I will eat deviled eggs by the pan.

Okay, that was actually harder than I thought it would be. Now though, the next part of this is to pick 6 people to tag to do this next. Two of my regular people have done it all ready, so not sure I can hit 6, but here goes anyway.

  1. Sas
  2. Wynter
  3. Jim
  4. Snowflake
  5. Anyone else who has a blog and is reading this. If you do this and I didn’t list you, please leave a comment so that I can see what you’ve written.

I’m a Flower?

Well, I have a really hard time thinking of myself as a flower but … And me, delicate?

You Are a Blue Flower

A blue flower tends to represent peace, openness, and balance.
At times, you are very delicate like a cornflower.
And at other times, you are wise like an iris.
And more than you wish, you’re a little cold, like a blue hydrangea.

Quirky!

Hmm. Not bad…

Your Quirk Factor: 45%

You’re a pretty quirky person, but you’re just normal enough to hide it.
Congratulations – you’ve fooled other people into thinking you’re just like them!

People Envy My …

Not bad. I think this isn’t too far off.

People Envy Your Compassion

You have a kind heart and an unusual empathy for all living creatures. You tend to absorb others’ happiness and pain.
People envy your compassion, and more importantly, the connections it helps you build. And compassionate as you are, you feel for them.

Happy, Happy, Happy

Okay, here’s another glimpse of myself. This one’s pretty accurate though.

You Are 60% Happy

You’re definitely a happy person, even though you have your down moments.
You tend to get the most out of life, though there’s always some more happiness to be squeezed.

According to the true writings of Blog Things, if I were a writer I would be a film writer. Check it out.

Chances are, you enjoy creating all types of stories. The joy is in the storytelling.
And nothing would please you more than millions of people seeing your story on the big screen!

Firsts and Lasts

FIRSTS…

First real best friend: I think that would have to be Shannon. We met when we were six years old, and we still email back and forth twenty-three years later.

First school: Technically my first school was West Side Elementary School. I was there for Kindergarten.

First cell phone: Oh man! It was an ancient Startech 1000 flip phone back in 1999. It was small compared to most phones of those days, but I was lucky if I got an hour of use, and even on stand-by time the battery life was terrible.

First funeral: I honestly don’t remember. I try to avoid funerals as a general rule.

First pet: I remember this like it was yesterday. I was three, and my oldest sister came home with a kitten who was the runt of the litter, had been malled by a dog, and kicked around by cows. His name was Hutch, and he was one of the gentlest cats! That cat ended up being close to 20 pounds, so being the runt didn’t affect him any. I think he lived for at least fourteen or fifteen years, and if I remember right he went away from home to die.

First piercing/tattoo: I got my ears pierced just before going into second grade when I was seven. Since then I’ve added two more holes in each ear.

First big trip: This is really hard to remember exactly what was first because we used to travel all the time. I guess my first big trip was probably to Idaho when I was a kid because we used to always go out there to visit my gramma every summer.

First flight: I was eight. I started flying home from school on weekends, so my first flight was by myself on one of those little two-engine prop planes. I’ve been addicted to flying ever since!

First time out of the country? I was probably about five. We went to Mexico. I don’t really remember it all that well though. If we’re talking about trips that i remember, it would be the trip I got to take to Canada during my sophomore year of high school. We got to go up there and sing in a choir with the Ohio School for the Blind and the school in Canada. I still have the audio files from that concert. It was GREAT!

First date: Well, when I was a kid I really didn’t call this a date since I wouldn’t have been allowed to go if I’d said it was a date. It was probably in eighth grade and this guy had a crush on me. A lot of kids called him a nerd, but I always thought he was really cool. His name was Adam. We went to a couple of movies and one time we even went roler skating.

First job: I worked for a domestic abuse shelter the summers between ninth and tenth grade and tenth and eleventh grade. It was through the PIC program. It was a really great experience for me, but it was also very hard and I learned a lot about life in those two summers.

LASTS…

Last person you hugged: That would have been Jim

Last car ride: Last night I rode in a van to and from the casino. Do vans count?

Last time you cried? I have absolutely no idea.

Last movie you watched: Nanny McFee, twice. I loved that movie!

Last person of the opposite sex that you talked to: Jim

Last shirt worn: A plain ordinary t-shirt, which I’m still wearing until I get ready for bed.

Last phone call: I think it was to a neighbor. I was talking to him about my new keyboard and about the guy who he thinks can fix my poor sickly embosser.

Last instant message: Yesterday afternoon I was messaging with one of my committee members who is helping me plan exhibits for our WSVH reunion coming up in June.

Last thing you touched: My braile display so that I could route the cursor to the spot I wanted it to go.

Last Funeral: I think it may have been Jim’s grandpa back in what, 2001?

Last time at the mall: When I went to see Nanny McFee. Does that count since I didn’t shop?

Last time you were excited about something: When I was going to go gambling last night.

Last person you saw: Jim

Last thing you drank: Lemonade. I’m still working on it now.

Last person that broke your heart: I’ve been really lucky when it comes to dating-type relationships, but some regular friendships haven’t been quite so great.
